FUCK AT&T! They …
DON’T GET AT&T PEOPLE! Get Charter or Hughenet or Samsung!
AT&T! They are a bunch of highway robbers! cut my internet and demanded me to pay 150 bucks for their service. And then had a hindu to give me the run around on the phone.

well to be fair …

Musicians needs to …
Musicians needs to eat. Commercials offer cash to bands who allow their songs to be featured in commercials. Cash can get you food. You don’t want Jason and Kori to be famished on tour, do you??? Anyway, does this song sound anything like a jingle? I think not.

I LOVE getting to …
XD
I LOVE getting to hear my favorite bands on commercials- it makes me proud
By yasuakimaru on Mar 1, 2010

seriously…why is it considered “selling out” to get paid and have your music played? I was so geeked when I first saw this. I loooove MoS

that song I believe …
that song I believe was written about 4 years ago.
I applaud the family of four for trying to make a little extra cash. They tour in a Minivan…

Musicians should …
Musicians should NEVER EVER write a song for commercial purposes. That is too crass and base. Musicians should only write songs for noble purposes, such as in order to get laid.

A boat load of ” …
A boat load of “indie” bands have allowed their music to be used in commercials (Cat Power, Modest Mouse, Pas/Cal…) I don’t see the harm, in fact some of my favorite bands I heard first in a commercial and later looked up more of their stuff.
The real issue is why are commercials so far ahead of mainstream radio, Mtv, etc… These are supposed to be the sources of new music, but insted our best bet is a 15 second spot for wireless service?

thats because ts …
thats because ts soothing and calm, its not like they are going to put pantera in the commercial…… oasis rocks!!!!!
By xdude180 on Mar 1, 2010
The issue is not …
The issue is not necessarily when a musician allows their music to be used for commercial purposes. The issue is when a musician makes their music for commercial purposes. There is a very very big difference.
Radio music is not bad because it is on the radio. It is bad because it was made to be on the radio.

actually, they have TWO children.
By Ratbug56 on Mar 1, 2010
haha…people are …
haha…people are so quick to use the word “sellout” for any “indie” or “underground” band that experiences any kind of commercial success. you may or may not realize, but MOS have a child that they need to care for. im sure money wasnt as big of an issue when it was just the two of them touring and recording and trying to sell records, but kids change everything. please dont judge them for wanting to be responsible parents.

indie music is …
indie music is always in commercials. i don’t see the problem here?
By eatsofa on Mar 1, 2010
It IS fair to …
It IS fair to discredit an artist for doing something like this. It’s not fair to discredit their music itself, but MOS sold out on this one (not as bad as some other bands, but it’s still a sellout to some degree) and it hurts me to watch it because I love them so much.
By maddpiklz48 on Mar 1, 2010
oo i already …
oo i already comented on this one lol, oh well, but i do love this song, and i posted a video response, it has this song in it.
By ZachD8 on Mar 1, 2010
when i first saw …
when i first saw this commercial i was like “WTF! theyre indie!! They dont play for money!!”
but ehh whatever everyone loves money. and a growing band needs money so i dont blame em one bit. i love em still
By trinen21893 on Mar 1, 2010
I for one would …
I for one would never have heard of them had they not “sold out”. AT&T is hardly affected for better or for worse by an artist’s decisions. The recognition that a feature like this brings is what’s truly important.
